Please be aware that while our HDMI 2.1 active 8K cables are compatible with most devices, there might be instances where some HDMI output devices such as extenders, switchers, or splitters may not supply the sufficient power to our HDMI 2.1 active 8K cables requires, particularly when linked directly to a HDMI display. This is because some HDMI output devices may not supply adequate power to ensure the full functionality of our HDMI 2.1 active 8K cables. To resolve this, we sell an HDMI power injector adapter HDF-UPW-3ST, by connecting its USB-A end to a power adapter supporting 5V or an existing 5V USB port. Attach the HDMI power injector adapter to the "source" end of the HDMI 2.1 active 8K cable, then plug the adapter into the output HDMI port of the extender, switch, or splitter being used.
